This specification is for the glass lining as applied to pipe and fittings using accepted industry standards and is tested per US Pipe Fabrication procedures referencing applicable ASTM, NACE, SSPC and NAPF standards, and is fully compliant with ASTM B1000-15, the latest national standard specific to glass lined pipe and fittings.

Glass lining has been providing unsurpassed benefits and longevity to otherwise problematic process piping systems in wastewater and sewage treatment plants for nearly 60 years. To assure that continued performance and longevity, it is extremely important that certain quality criteria be maintained. Recently, the first ever National Standard, ASTM B 1000-15, was established for glass lining which, if made a part of project specifications, will assure these ongoing performance benefits.
